Scope of the Role:
The Supply Chain Sourcing Manager will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing operations for Sub-Contractors, Material Suppliers, Consultants, OSM’s and ongoing Supplier Relationship Management. As a Sourcing Manager you’ll work with business stakeholders to ensure that the sourcing activity is delivered in line with Group requirements and meet the expected growth of the business.
The Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to source, evaluate and propose Supply Chain solutions, focussing on manufacturing capabilities tailored to the company's size, scale, and specific skill sets, e.g. orbital welding capability. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for the establishing and maintaining an internal Business Intelligence Vendor tool.
Overall, the Manager's ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams is crucial for achieving the company's strategic objectives and maintaining a well-functioning supply chain.
Reporting directly to the Group Head of Procurement, you will be operating in a highly agile environment whilst running and expanding the existing supplier management team.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Oversee the long-term supply plan for the business and coordinate the Supply Chain sourcing drives.
- Gather information and publish the supplier capacity information considering manufacturing capability, team size, scalability, and test capacity.
- Drive a continuous and proactive review of supplier performance and relationship in conjunction with Project teams.
- Manage the site-specific Supply Chain requirements which includes liaising with the supplier and with Site teams.
- Drive and monitor performance of strategic suppliers in a transparent manner, maintaining focus on key measures that support business objectives.
- Manage supply risk and compliance with responsible sourcing, ethics, and regulatory requirements, by strengthening global transparency and visibility of the relationship.
- Support compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Implement and deliver rigorous governance through supplier relationships.
- Identify opportunities to drive value and improve performance of existing and potential suppliers.
- Ongoing deep analytical performance management
- Seek ways to improve innovation in processes, reduce costs, manage, and reduce risk and stimulate performance improvement.
- Work closely with the business to ensure sourcing arrangements are in place for all new Projects.
- Ensure key supplier relationships deliver desired business outcomes.
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain commercial market awareness of the Construction market and associated categories.
- Understanding of competitor activity, regulatory and legislative developments
- Ensure all contractual and regulatory requirements are always achieved.
- Identify supply chain failings and develop improvement plans to manage risks to the business.
- Develop robust contingency plans that can be implemented during times of disruption or surge.
- Cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to promote open communication, trust, and long-term partnerships.

Essential Criteria for the Role:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum 6 years’ experience in Supply Chain Sourcing Manager Role.
- Previous experience in Construction Operations.
- Significant experience working with and managing supplier relationships.
- BSc in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or Engineering.
- Significant ERP experience (SAP, Ariba).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience of Supplier Master Service Agreements (MSA’s)
- Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to present and communicate clearly at all levels of the organization.
- Extensive travel required for extended periods.
