About this Role:

We have a hybrid work model, where your time is split between working from home and in our Head Office in Sandyford, Dublin.

The Learning & Development Manager reports to the Group HR Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a Learning & Development Strategy for the Group which is aligned with the company's strategic goals and competitive practices that assist with employee retention and attracting top talent.
 

Key responsibilities of the Role:

  • Develop, and implement a L&D strategy and programmes incorporating best practice and fresh thinking to support the organisations vision and Best People strategy.
  • Understand the business priorities, leverage internal and external resources to implement learning programmes and key initiatives
  • Coordinate succession and talent planning processes, in partnership with the HR Business Partners and Senior Management.
  • Develop and implement High Potential program(s) for employees
  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of L&D solutions.
  • Establish and maintain annual L&D plan and manage its implementation in line with budget.
  • Procure and manage external vendors.
  • Develop and lead an Employee Onboarding Programme.
  • Proactively collaborate with Group stakeholders to diagnose learning and organizational capability development needs and design, develop and deploy a portfolio of  development strategies and initiatives to support business needs
  • Work with the HR BP team and line managers to establish professional and personal development needs for their teams.
  • Co-ordinate all training provided and process all associated paperwork.
  • Develop appropriate metrics that evaluate and report on the impact of organizational development and learning programs.
  • Design, lead and execute leadership and management development strategies and programs that support the delivery of our Best People Strategy
  • Work closely with communication team to ensure all L&D initiatives and programmes are communicated to all employees
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports on training activity

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum of a third level qualification in a relevant area
  • 8+ years previous experience in a similar role focused on learning and development,     talent management or organizational development
  • People management experience, with a strong focus on coaching
  • Strong project management skills, highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work on own initiative - proactive, driven and enthusiastic
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to influence and communicate effectively with people at all levels of an organisation
  • A high degree of flexibility, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong track record in developing and implementing actionable L&D initiatives
  • Experience of in-house L&D delivery
  • Experience working with leaders and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Experience in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management.
  • There will be an element of travel with this role in order to build relationships with the project teams and roll out of initiative. Candidate must be available for travel to Ireland, UK & Mainland Europe.
