Mercury is proud to be a corporate member of Lean Construction Ireland (LCi), and along with Mercury’s LCi board member Seamus Lacey, we are delighted to have taken part in the Lean Construction Ireland Annual Book of Cases once again in 2020.

The book of cases has launched online today, which includes two excellent and individual case studies by our own Jason Toomey and Antoin Earle.

Jason’s case study examines modular wiring system design and installation on a large-scale project in Ireland. The objective of this project was to reduce the time taken to produce Modular Wiring 2D drawings and reduce waste onsite utilising Lean Principles.

Antoin’s case study examines Mercury’s eight-year Lean initiative to make its procurement systems and processes more effective and more efficient, with the focused aim to return substantially enhanced value-add to its client.

To download the book and read Mercury’s case studies and many more, visit The LCi Annual Book of Cases is a hugely valuable resource and reference for the Irish Construction sector, providing detailed and practical examples of Lean being implemented on capital projects as well as within sectoral organisations.
