Mercury Welcomes 87 Graduates to our 2026–27 Graduate Programme
Mercury has welcomed 87 graduates to our headquarters in Dublin for the start of our 2026–27 Graduate Programme. It is the largest intake in the programme’s history, with graduates set to work in 16 locations across nine countries.
The group represents 11 nationalities, spanning Brazil, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Spain, the UK and Zimbabwe. Twenty-five of the new graduates are women, representing 29% of the intake. They will join teams in Data Centres, Advanced Technology & Engineering, and Group Support.
Talent Development Specialist Becky Caulfield welcomed the new intake as they began the programme and met colleagues from across the business.
“Mercury’s graduate programme has doubled in size since last year, reflecting our growing scale across Europe. This year’s intake reflects the diversity, ambition, and potential that drives our business forward, and we are proud to support them as they begin their journey with us”.
Chief Executive Officer Eoin Vaughan spoke about the opportunities ahead and the importance of backing our people as they build their careers.
“This is the most exciting time to be entering our industry,” he said.
Each of you has a vision for the career you want to build, and our duty is to back you with the experience and opportunities to pursue it. We create opportunities as a collective.
Our Graduate Programme began in 2009 with five people. Before this year’s group joined, close to 500 graduates had been welcomed through the programme.
Chief People Officer Joanne Cluxton spoke about what the new intake will bring to Mercury as they begin their careers.
“Our culture evolves and improves when people bring their curiosity and unique perspectives and ideas into the business. Your talent and ambition will shape the future of Mercury”.
Graduates are entering a high-performance culture that thrives on change, strives for excellence, and supports each other every step of the way.
We wish all of the new graduates every success as they embark on this next stage of their careers with Mercury.
