Growing Great Leaders. Mercury Celebrates First Cohort of Graduates of the Evolving Leaders Programme
Last week marked a proud milestone as the first group of Mercury employees graduated from our Evolving Leaders course, a culmination of their hard work, commitment and dedication over the past 8 months.
Under Mercury’s dedicated Leadership Academy, Evolving Leaders is a comprehensive level 9 programme aimed at middle management. Designed and delivered internally by our Talent Development team in partnership with Technological University Dublin (TUD), on completion, participants graduate with a Level 9 Leadership and High-Performance Teams accreditation through TUD.
16 people from varying backgrounds and roles across the business successfully completed the course, helping to pave the way for others to follow – demonstrating what can be achieved when people are given the opportunity, encouragement and support to grow. To mark the occasion, we hosted a special graduation ceremony at our Global HQ, with graduates of the programme travelling from across our European locations to attend.
We were pleased to welcome Dr. Ashley O’Donoghue and Dr. Colin Hughes from TUD, who supported the cohort throughout the programme and presented them with their certificates. CEO Eoin Vaughan and Chief People Officer Joanne Cluxton also shared some words on the day, recognising the group’s commitment and achievements.
The graduation ceremony was a celebration of individual success, as well as a reflection of what can happen when people are given the right supports.
