Scope of Role:

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  To ensure compliance with all cost control processes in compliance with Mercury Procedures and Project requirements.

· To provide full support to Construction Team including,

· Management of the project cost control.

· Responsible for the weekly reporting to the site and sector commercial man-agers and the line manager.

· Preparation of the monthly accounts for the Client.

· Responsibility for the forecasting of cash inwards & outwards

· Ensure invoices are issued and payments collected on time

· Responsible for Completing Month End Reports for projects

· Separating cost out between the projects as all are combined within one job code.

· Finalising subcontractor applications and processing payment certs.

· Managing Processing and approving all car and house rentals.

· Cleaning and waste removal invoices.

· Overseeing daily cost control functions per contract requirements.

• Overseeing the reviews of work orders, variation orders and variation order requests.

• Ensure the correct use and implementation of SAP systems to support cost and contract management.

• Ensure Close Out procedures are adhered to.

• Provide project cash flow reports on a regular basis.

• Identify and analyse cost trends and instigate / coordinate any corrective ac-tions required to keep the project under budget.

• All other duties associated with this role and/or reasonably required by the Company the Com pany reserves the right to vary the scope and nature of the Employee’s normal duties to take into account changes in the Com-pany’s work patterns and practices and the requirements of its business.

Essential Criteria

· The ideal candidate will have a minimum 7 years’ experience in cost control / Quantity Role. 2 Years in senior capacity

· Previous experience in Construction Operations.

· Professional qualification in QS required but not mandatory

· Professional certification in related field is an advantage

· experience in the construction sector required.

· Experience in use of Excel is a requirement

· Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Experience using SAP & Microsoft Office advanced user skills.

· Ability to work under pressure

· Travel might be required for this position.
