Ronan O’Kane

Sales & Marketing Director:

Ronan is the longest standing and most experienced executive on Mercury’s Board and Executive Management Team (EMT). Appointed to the Board a decade ago with overall responsibility for Mercury's Sales & Marketing function, he played a central role in the establishment of the company's data centre offering. Ronan began working in Mercury in 1995 in the Sales & Marketing department for three years, later returning in 2003 as a Data Technician. Ronan was soon promoted to the position of Business Development Officer and became key to maintaining and developing client relationships, particularly as a new generation of construction stakeholder companies emerged during this period of strong growth.

Ronan is responsible for the company’s sales forward planning including devising plans, implementing and leading Mercury's future growth strategy. Ronan has also reported to the board and held responsibility for the following areas within the business: IT, Mercury Technologies, Fire Protection and the Libyan region.
