As Managing Director of Hyperscale, Gerry continues to grow our relationships with key clients and further develop our strong pipeline of work across new and existing territories in this core Mercury division. 

Following his graduation from the University of Ulster in 1999 as a Building Services Engineer, Gerry began his career with Mercury on our semi-conductor campus, before progressing to Senior Engineering, Project & Contracts Management roles in Life Sciences, Industrial, Semiconductor, Healthcare, and Data Centre Projects, both in Ireland and the wider European market. He has been working in the Data Centre sector for the past 10 years and, as Project Director, was responsible for Mercury’s breakthrough Hyperscale Project in Amsterdam. Prior to this appointment, Gerry has been in the role of Hyperscale Business Unit Operations Director.

Gerry’s progression to this leadership position reflects our commitment to cultivating and promoting talent from within our organisation as part of our robust succession planning strategy. Our organisational changes are directed at structuring Mercury so that we can continue operating at the leading edge of industry, always ensuring we meet our commitment to clients, delivering their desired vision, and building relationships that thrive.
