Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Dublin, Ireland

Scope of the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our Talent Acquisition (TA) Team. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless recruitment process by coordinating administrative tasks, supporting candidate experience, and maintaining accurate recruitment data.
We have a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding
- Assist in drafting and publishing job advertisements across various platforms
- Schedule interviews, liaising with Hiring Managers, TA team and candidates. Preparing interview schedules and issuing supporting paperwork and documentation.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate and job data
- Conduct initial phone screenings for certain roles
- Providing a customer-focused service to candidates and managers, responding promptly to queries received through the Recruitment inbox.
- Generate recruitment reports and metrics for the TA team and leadership.
- Responsible for the administration of our Refer a Friend scheme
- Conduct reference checks on candidates
- Liaising and assisting with new employees when relocating to projects in Ireland, the UK, mainland Europe or any other locations where Mercury has recruitment needs.
- Ensure each new starter has the relevant paperwork completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Liaise with site administration, where necessary, to book a new hire onto the site induction.
- Support the coordination of recruitment campaigns, events, and employer branding initiatives.
- Assisting with recruitment fairs/open days/graduate recruitment fairs
- Build good working relationships with all the other members of the HR team
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal data protection policies.
- Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with other ad hoc duties as required
Essential Criteria:
- Min 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced recruitment environment, either in-house or agency.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience using an ATS or HRIS is an advantage.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing tools
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry advantage but not essential
