Scope of the Role:

The Integration Project Manager will manage all aspects of integration scope delivery for large scale Data Centre projects and interface with the contractor, the design team, the equipment vendors and the client. The These activities include managing and coordinating the flow of information and reporting and tracking issues arising in advance of handover. The successful candidate will be client facing with proven communication and organizational skills, reporting directly to the Client’s regional manager.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Planning, scheduling, and managing all of the integration activities associated with a data centre campus. Integration scope includes Telecoms, Audio Visual (AV), Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Radio Over IP (ROIP) and Security
  • Partner collaboratively with cross-functional teams (design engineering, construction, other project controls functions, finance, etc.) to understand requirements and ensure alignment to scope, schedule and budget
  • Engage related clients vendors that perform design and implementation services related to our support systems that are required for each data centre.
  • Track and ensure successful completion all integration tasks associated with delivery critical milestones such as Colo Ready.
  • Develop, track and provide oversight of all integration budget line items including vendor’s labour and equipment cost.
  • Coordinate Integration project meetings, site visits, trip reports, and producing meeting minutes to coordinate and record project progress.
  • Coordinate scope and change management activities across related teams for all of the integration services.
  • Identify, track and manage project risks as well as raise awareness through the client leadership teams. Ensure proper communication with all stakeholders as well as develop and execute a mitigation strategy to minimize impact on overall program.
  • Reporting to Senior Management and Client team as necessary
  • Create project and regional level status reports and deliver presentations to senior management as necessary.

 

Essential Criteria for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management or similar experience.
  • BISCI accredited
  • 10 + years’ experience in IT or construction related project management.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience managing large scale enterprise projects with both localized and virtual teams.
