Responsibilities of the role:
- As part of an established team of Mechanical & Electrical professionals the successful candidate will be involved in the production of competitive tenders/detailed estimates assisting the existing estimators and beginning with the process of getting quantities from plans and models under supervision.
- Compiling specialist sub-contract quotes.
- Ensuring sub-contractor quotes comply with specification.
- Completing take-offs from tender drawings and models.
- Filing and storing of all information in current folder system.
- Training in the mechanical role to become proficient in M&E.
Your Qualifications and Key Criteria:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly numerate.
- Computer literacy in relevant estimating packages.
- Willingness to learn.
- Available to attend head office full time for the first three months at least. Hybrid working will be acceptable after this initial period.
Desirable Skills:
- A previous trades or engineering background.
- Microsoft Excel.
