Responsibilities of the role:

  • As part of an established team of Mechanical & Electrical professionals the successful candidate will be involved in the production of competitive tenders/detailed estimates assisting the existing estimators and beginning with the process of getting quantities from plans and models under supervision.
  • Compiling specialist sub-contract quotes.
  • Ensuring sub-contractor quotes comply with specification.
  • Completing take-offs from tender drawings and models.
  • Filing and storing of all information in current folder system.
  • Training in the mechanical role to become proficient in M&E.

 

Your Qualifications and Key Criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly numerate.
  • Computer literacy in relevant estimating packages.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Available to attend head office full time for the first three months at least. Hybrid working will be acceptable after this initial period.

 

Desirable Skills:

  • A previous trades or engineering background.
  • Microsoft Excel.
