We are delighted to announce that Mercury has received a silver badge of recognition from EcoVadis, highlighting our continued sustainability achievements.

EcoVadis* ratings are evidence-based, and this platform is the only universal sustainability ratings provider, having examined over 65,000 companies, across 120+ countries.

Organisations are scored across four key sustainability themes, such as Environment, Labour, Human Rights + Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

We have focused on a number of sustainability projects over the past year, targeting areas such as carbon management, energy efficiency, waste management, and particularly sustainable procurement, which was our most successful EcoVadis category, where we received double the industry standard score.

This recognition from EcoVadis places us within the 84th percentile, meaning our score is rated higher than 84 percent of organisations on the platform.

This outcome reflects successful teamwork, as we continue to move forward on our journey of sustainability driven projects and training. As a company, we continue to refresh fundamental sustainability messaging internally and externally, aiming to achieve, monitor, report and improve across these areas on an on-going basis.

While satisfied that this score conveys the positive direction we are taking on our sustainability journey, we strive to improve in key areas, as identified by the EcoVadis report.

*In 2007, EcoVadis launched an evidence-based online platform that assesses companies and their supply chain partners providing ratings and scorecards based on an evaluation of how well a company has integrated Sustainability/CSR principles into its business and management practices.
