As a proud ambassador of DC for Bees, Mercury recently planted 125 fruit trees in various locations across Ireland.

Mercury is a leading voice in the European Data Centre sector, and we have come together with key industry stakeholders with a common goal to positively impact biodiversity.

Teams of volunteers gathered at non-for-profit organisations and schools to plant a range of donated orchards last week.

It is well-known that Earth’s bee population is dwindling and the opportunity to encourage growth amongst pollinators is incredibly compelling.

Our people will plant a further 125 trees in Quarter 1 2022 as part of the DC for Bees initiative.

Promoting and caring about biodiversity is an important aspect of being a responsible business. You can read more about Mercury’s sustainability strategy by clicking here.
