Mercury is delighted to announce that we have successfully completed the handover of four additional data halls on the AMS17 project for our longstanding client, Interxion: A Digital Realty Company, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The scope of works on this project included an upgrade on four existing fallow floors, a front of house office fit out, a new NOC room and major upgrades to the primary mechanical and electrical systems throughout this 12-story ‘Amsterdam Data Tower’.

The Mercury team worked closely with Interxion’s onsite operations team to ensure that no disruptions were faced by live customers throughout this fast-track project.

Overall, the project saw the addition of 2,640m2 of new white space, the installation of 2 new MV power strings and associated generators, 2.4MW of additional cooling capacity and an additional 2 ATES wells.

Located in the Science Park Campus at the centre of Amsterdam’s connectivity hub, this impressive facility currently houses over 120 colocation customers and is one of the most densely populated live data centres that Mercury has worked on in recent years.
