Mercury launch new Safety Initiative in The Netherlands

On one of our Data Centre projects in The Netherlands, we recently arranged an EHS initiative where we asked the workers on site to invite their kids to participate in a drawing competition with the High Risk Activity of “lifting” being the topic.

The primary objective was for the workers on the project to think about safety outside of the workplace and to involve their families and ultimately support the creation of a very positive safety culture on site. The response was great and there were five prizes donated by Mercury and our Sub-Contractor Partners worth €1,000 each.

Very soon, we will print enlarged versions of the drawings and post them across the project’s site to continue the involvement and engagement of the workforce. Other similar initiatives are in the pipeline.
