Role Purpose
An entry-level opportunity has arisen for a graduate to join our change management team. The Change Analyst role is ideal for an individual seeking experience in transformation, change management and business operations. The Change Analyst provides analytical, coordination and documentation support across Mercury’s change initiatives. This role helps assess impacts, prepare readiness information, produce governance materials, and support the rollout of Mercury’s Change Framework.
Rols & Responsibilities:
- Business Readiness Support
- Support the Change Lead in coordinating readiness activities across teams.
- Assist in identifying impacts to people, processes and systems.
- Help prepare readiness checklists, stakeholder maps, and cutover support materials.
- Gather information from functions to track readiness status, risks and dependencies.
- Change Framework & Documentation
- Use and maintain Change Framework templates
- Support quality checks on documentation before submission to the CCC.
- Help update templates and guidance materials based on lessons learned and feedback.
- Maintain SharePoint folders, version control and documentation standards.
- Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
- Draft communications, updates and briefing materials for impacted teams.
- Support workshop preparation and facilitation (slides, notes, logistics).
- Help track stakeholder questions, concerns and follow-up actions.
- Change Control & Governance Support
- Assist with data collection for impact scoring, risk profiles, and dependencies.
- Track mitigation plans, decision conditions and follow-up actions.
- Maintain the change decision log and ensure it is kept up to date.
- Portfolio & Reporting Support
- Assist PMO with data inputs for portfolio dashboards and reporting.
- Track small-scale changes and help identify collisions or overlaps.
- Maintain trackers for readiness, risks, actions and adoption progress.
- Continuous Improvement
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to process improvements.
- Suggest enhancements to templates, tools or ways of working.
- Take part in developing Mercury’s maturing Change Function.
- Conduct trend analysis on change initiatives approved and rejected
Essential Criteria:
- Graduate degree (Business, HR, Communications, Engineering, Data, or related field).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Structured thinker who can bring order and consistency to information
- Comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
- Ability to organise work and manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in change management, transformation, PMO or business analysis.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in the Construction Industry or Trade Background
