Scope of Role: To assess and trade test pipe fitters both prior to project mobilisation and during project execution projects in Ireland & projects in Europe. Additionally, to audit project setups to ensure productivity, compliance, and correct configuration.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and assess mechanical candidates for projects.
- Conduct practical and theoretical trade tests for pipe fitters before deployment and on active projects.
- Evaluate candidates’ technical competence in pipefitting and associated mechanical skills.
- Review and audit project site setups for productivity and compliance with project execution plans.
- Identify gaps in labour, equipment, materials & project plans to optimise efficiency.
- Liaise with project managers and supervisors to address deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Essential Criteria for the Role:
- Ability to travel.
- Significant experience in pipefitting and mechanical systems within industrial projects.
- In-depth technical knowledge of semiconductor & Pharmaceutical systems, tools, and equipment and installation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with operatives and project teams.
- A clean driving license is required as travel to different locations is necessary.
- Strong work ethic
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of Orbital Welding and High Purity Systems.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Be flexible and adjust to different training approaches to meet the evolving needs of the company.
- Strong organisational and auditing skills.
