Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TABP) will be responsible for leading the recruitment efforts and managing the full cycle hiring process for their allocated Business Units. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, developing recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner will oversee a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists.
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will be based in our Global Headquarters in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15.
Hybrid Working Model– 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
European Travel is required
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy and Execution:
• Working collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Manager and other TABP’s to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Own, lead and deliver on the key recruitment activities with regards to attraction, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer management processes
• Work in partnership with Hiring Managers as their dedicated TABP to guide them through the Talent Acquisition process
• Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with insights, analysis and innovative ways of sourcing the right calibre of candidates to Mercury
• As part of our sourcing strategy, travel to relevant countries to hold Career Fairs to attract talent for our roles throughout Europe
People Management:
• Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, providing mentorship and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Candidate Experience:
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Manage the offer process including salary and package negotiations.
Employer Branding:
• Promote Mercury’s employer brand to attract high-quality candidates.
• Participate in job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities.
Data and Reporting:
• Track and analyse recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
• Provide regular reports to management on recruitment activities and outcomes.
• Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Essential Criteria
• Experience in a senior recruitment role in Construction, preferably in-house or agency
• Experience partnering with senior leadership, hiring managers, and stakeholders to drive deliverables for the Talent Acquisition team
• ATS experience with sourcing and managing candidates
• Knowledge with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Self-motivated
• Ability to prioritise in a high volume environment
• Willingness to Travel
• Fluent in English
