Scope of the Role:

Mercury is currently looking for an experienced document controller to join our pre-construction team. The role will be based in our head office in Dublin.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and independent individual that can contribute to our team with deep knowledge and understanding of project document control, who can perform administrative tasks, and be open minded in implementing our information management procedures for our tendering department.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Coordinate and log incoming information to the department with our bid coordination team, including tender documents, events and meetings.
  • Coordinate and log outgoing communications from the department, including tender submission.
  • Set up the tender projects on our information management platforms.
  • Manage control of access to our information management platforms.
  • Produce key documents for tender information management such as document registers, contract document registers, tender close out reports.
  • Review documentation received and cross check them against the document registers.
  • Perform various administrative tasks within the department, such as SAP entries, requisitions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 information management standards.
  • Maintain standard of procedure documents for the department.

 

Essential Criteria of the Role:

 

  • 5-10 years' experience with document control in construction projects.
  • Degree in administration.
  • Knowledge of ISO19650 standards.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement.
  • Common data environment application skillset.
  • Knowledge of CRM solutions; Dynamisc, Salesforce etc.

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of Bluebeam is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of BIM is an advantage.
  • Fluent communication in German or French is an advantage
