Scope of the role

Based in our new Global Headquarters and reporting to the Talent Acquisition Business Partner, the Talent Acquisition Associate is a key delivery and sourcing role within Mercury’s Agile Talent Acquisition model.

You will focus on front‑end recruitment activity, including proactive candidate sourcing, CV screening, and first‑stage interviews. The TA Associate role is key in enabling faster pipelines and higher candidate quality

Location: Ballycoolin, Dublin 15 (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFH)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates for open roles using multiple sourcing tools including LinkedIn, ATS and other sourcing tools
  • Build and maintain active and passive talent pipelines aligned to business priorities.
  • Support high‑volume technical roles through targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Screen incoming applications and sourced candidates against agreed role criteria.
  • Create quality shortlists aligned with hiring manager expectations and role priorities
  • Assist in publishing job advertisements across various platforms
  • Conduct first‑round interviews and screening calls.
  • Clearly document interview feedback and recommendations in the ATS.
  • Partner closely with TA Specialists and TABPs to understand role requirements and priorities.
  • Provide insights on candidate availability, market trends, and pipeline health.
  • Assist with recruitment fairs/open days/graduate recruitment fairs where required

 

Essential Criteria

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a high volume recruitment environment, either in-house or agency
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • Confident interviewing and questioning skills
  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and technology
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
  • Experience using LinkedIn or similar sourcing tools
