Scaling From a Position of Strength: Mercury’s 2026 Leadership Summit
Last week, we hosted our annual Leadership Summit in Dublin – a two-day flagship event that brought together 200 leaders who travelled from 12 European countries. The event featured insights from our Senior Leadership Team and, Managing Directors and Operations Teams, who shared key business updates. and their perspectives with attendees.
Day one of the summit was all about our people, bringing them together to experience our new world-class headquarters – a space designed to drive collaboration, strengthen connection and deliver premium results. Day two focused on Operating at Scale, with talks and breakout sessions drawing on experience from across Mercury.
Discussions focused on our success to date, the future of the business and the priorities that will shape the next phase of our journey. Just over 18 months into our Go Beyond strategy, we’re proud to be ahead of plan in delivering against the ambitious objectives we set out to achieve.
Scaling our delivery across Europe and strengthening our role as a strategic partner to our clients remain key priorities. We’re already seeing the benefits of our investments, including our new headquarters and state-of-the-art Offsite Manufacturing Facility in Germany, both opened this year.
Speaking at the Summit, Eoin Vaughan CEO, remarked:
“It is easy to become focused on the challenges in front of us and forget just how much we have achieved. We are stronger with our clients and stronger in the opportunities we are creating for our people than at any point in our history. That’s important because it means we are not growing from necessity. We are growing from a position of strength.
He had a key message for the next stage of our journey:
As we continue to scale, the climb will get steeper, and our culture will matter more than ever. Every leader at Mercury has a responsibility to shape it through the decisions they make, the opportunities they create and the trust they place in our people.
The summit reinforced how our future success hinges on the strength of our people. At Mercury, we back our people to realise their vision of themselves through learning, development and opportunities to grow. “Culture is our oxygen” was a clear message to leaders, with an emphasis on understanding the people behind the roles and recognising their contribution. These everyday actions build a culture where people feel valued and supported to do their best work, helping us attract and retain the people who will drive Mercury’s growth.
The 2026 Summit capped off with a Managing Directors ‘Operating at Scale’ panel where they focused on their personal journeys in Mercury, the current challenges and opportunities ahead. Bestselling author and two-time Olympian Matthew Syed closed the final day with a High Performance & Growth Mindset session.
We have a collective responsibility to build on the legacy of the thousands of people who have chosen to build their careers at Mercury. For our leaders, that means helping teams develop, celebrating their achievements and making it easier for them to deliver. As we continue to scale our operations, the strength of our people will carry our Go Beyond ambitions forward.
