Mercury completes final phase of Digital Realty AMS10 Data Centre at the Amsterdam Schiphol Campus in the Netherlands
Mercury is delighted to announce that we recently achieved practical completion on the final phase of Digital Realty AMS10 in Amsterdam.
As the primary contractor throughout the lifespan of this project, Mercury carried out the full design and build, delivering this state-of-the-art facility, possessing 26MWs of power across 14,400 square metres of IT space.
Our scope of works on this final phase consisted of the delivery of two data halls and technical space, and included the successful integration of additional MV generators, containerised TX/switchgear, chillers, dry coolers, and CRAHs to the existing site infrastructure, whilst continuing to support the live tenant IT load across the campus.
This project marks a continuation of the strong relationship between Mercury and Digital Realty, who offer the world’s largest global data centre platform – PlatformDIGITAL®.
We are excited to be working with Digital Realty across projects while they continue to grow their European portfolio, as they deliver mission critical capacity in key regions such as the Netherlands. Furthermore, this partnership has granted us an incredible opportunity to work at the forefront of some of Europe’s most innovative, high-level, and complex engineering projects, as we continue to break new ground, delivering world-class, industry leading solutions.
Domenic Cunningham, Business Unit Lead for our Enterprise Data Centre Division said: “We have a long and successful history of working closely with local Digital Realty teams in Amsterdam to fully support the live data centre environment when executing challenging projects such as this one. Mercury always puts the needs of their customer first, and the in-depth technical knowledge of the team on this project meant a seamless integration of the new technical space with zero impact on the live environment. The close relationship between Mercury and Digital Realty are what makes this possible.”
