Mercury launched Beyond5K for charity
At Mercury, our global teams span over 3,500KM across over 10 countries in Europe; from Ireland, the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland to Denmark and beyond the arctic circle in Lulea, Sweden.
We’re asking our team members to walk, run or cycle 5k, to challange 5 co-workers and donate €5 to a charity of their choice. Once we reach the target of 5,000KM, Mercury will match the 5,000KM with a €5,000 charity donation to various charities based across the regions in which we operate.
We may all be miles apart, but we’re all in similar situations as we adapt to the ‘new normal’ under restrictions in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
We believe that by working together, we can still achieve incredible things, even when we’re miles apart.
How to participate
If you’re a Mercury employee or subcontractor, run, walk, jog or cycle 5K (or whatever distance you can do!), then email Aoife Behan Aoife.behan@mercuryeng.com or Paul Byrne pbyrne@mercuryeng.com who are keeping track of our progress.

– your selfie
– cc 5 people to do the same
– donate €5 to a charity of your choice.
We will post a weekly tracker and keep everyone updated on the progress and success of Beyond 5k. Once we reach the target of 5000km, Mercury will match the 5000km with a €5000 charity donation.
