Our diversity and inclusion week came to a close with a fantastic celebration of the 39 nationalities employed at Mercury on Friday January 31.

Staff at our head office in Sandyford were encouraged to bring in a selection of dishes from their native countries to share at lunch time with their colleagues.

Jellof rice and chicken from Nigeria proved to be one of the most popular dishes, while employees also enjoyed a fine selection of Irish and Croatian cuisine.

Staff were encouraged to wear traditional clothing and the 39  flags of the different nationalities employed here were proudly on display in the canteen.

Outside of head office there were celebratory lunches held across Mercury sites and offices in both Ireland and across Europe.

Our Amsterdam team enjoyed an impressive feast as dishes from Italy, Poland, Brazil, Thailand, Palestine and Romania were shared by all.
