Mercury supports STEM Women Dublin Community Event

On Monday 18th November 2019, Mercury hosted a stand at The Westin Dublin, Dublin 2, Ireland. The event featured panel discussions and face to face networking with top graduate employers in Ireland.

Companies who attended the event included Mercury, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Bearing Point, PM Group, Jones Engineering, Bank of Ireland, Obelisk, XILINX, Prodieco, John Sisk & Son, the Central Bank of Ireland and Workday.

STEM Women run regular  careers events across the UK and Ireland for students and graduates studying STEM subjects who identify as women in STEM. The women in STEM network works with top graduate employers, hears inspirational talks from female role models, participates in skills and panel sessions and more. Read more about STEM Women here.

At Mercury, we put great emphasis on women in construction. While women currently make up only 5.5% of the construction workforce, Mercury are leading the way in making strides to both attract a high quality and diverse team and help to make the construction industry more female friendly.
