CIF Safety Week 2019

Construction Safety Week is an initiative of the Construction Safety Partnership Advisory Committee (CSPAC). This is a grouping of all the main stakeholders in the construction sector in Ireland – Employers, Unions, State Bodies ( in conjunction with the Health & Safety Authority ) and Professional Bodies. Mercury will be making regular updates across all of our social media channels throughout the week, so be sure to watch this space!

Mercury Initiatives

As part of CIF Safety Week 2019, Mercury held a CPR tips without mouth to mouth training sessions on one of our projects in Ireland. It was a great session that gave some basic tips to those who not formally trained in CPR how to start compressions. Interest levels were very high as nothing is more personal than being aware of how to intervene positively to save an infant, child or adult from choking.

CIF Safety Week 2019

Mercury has held numerous Toolbox Talks themed around a variety of safety topics throughout the week and has held a number of Safety Awards for contractors demonstrating their commitment to EHS within the Group.
