Data Technicians Training Centre

Mercury build brand new Training Centre for Trainee Data Technicians

Author: Evan O'Quigley  /  19th Mar, 2019  /  Careers

Mercury is delighted to announce that it has built a brand-new Training Centre for Trainee Data Technicians, the first of its kind in Ireland. As there are currently no dedicated training courses or specific industry standards relating to Trainee Technicians internationally, Mercury has taken the decision to develop its own in-house training programme.

Keith Foran, General Manager of Technologies stated, “The feedback that we have received from clients and manufacturers so far has been excellent. A major challenge facing the industry is the inability to obtain workers with the skillsets and quality standards that clients expect. Our new Training Centre will allow us to train our staff internally to the standard we require for both general works and project specific network configurations, allowing us to deliver for our clients”.

Further specific details about our training programme will be released in the coming months.
