We are pleased to congratulate the 32 graduates who have completed Mercury’s 2024–26 Graduate Programme.

Certificates of completion were presented by CEO Eoin Vaughan at a ceremony held on Friday, 27 March at the Irish Management Institute in Dublin. The event marked the conclusion of eighteen months of structured development and gave graduates the opportunity to present their final strategic research projects to Mercury’s Leadership Team.

This year’s cohort reflects the breadth of Mercury’s operations, with graduates working across mechanical and electrical engineering, CSA, planning, commercial, QA and EHS roles. Throughout the programme, they contributed across Data Centres, Life Sciences and Group functions, gaining experience in both site delivery and wider business operations.

Their final presentations addressed topics including AI adoption in construction, project planning, workforce strategy, retention, employee engagement, emerging technologies and supply chain visibility.

Opening the event, Joanne Cluxton, Chief People Officer emphasised the role of the programme in developing talent across the organisation:

Our Graduate Programme is designed to give talented individuals the opportunities, mentorship, and experience they need to grow into the leaders of tomorrow

Speaking at the event, Eoin reflected on Mercury’s continued growth as the business moves through the second year of its Go Beyond strategy. He highlighted the opportunities ahead and encouraged graduates to step forward and realise their potential:

“As Mercury continues to grow across Europe, we remain dedicated to providing a supportive environment and challenging opportunities to grow.

Potential is realised through challenging experiences, through learning, and through having the courage to be innovative.”

Mercury’s Graduate Programme reflects a long-term investment in people and capability. Since its inception, 18 years ago, it has supported the development of talent across the organisation, with many graduates progressing into senior and leadership roles.

Completing the programme marks an important milestone in each graduate’s career. As Mercury continues to grow across Europe, this cohort will contribute to project delivery, strengthen our teams, and support the ongoing development of the business.

At Mercury, we encourage and back our people to realise their vision of themselves. We place them at the heart of what we do, providing challenging opportunities to develop within a great team in a supportive environment that allows them to reach their full potential.

We congratulate all 32 graduates on their achievement and look forward to their continued progression within Mercury.
