Digital Realty’s Paris Digital Park, Delivered with Mercury, Named Editor’s Choice at the 2025 DCD Awards
Digital Realty’s Paris Digital Park, delivered by Mercury as general contractor, has been named Editor’s Choice at the 2025 DCD Awards.
Judged by an independent panel of industry experts, the award recognises a development that brings together architecturally distinctive design, disciplined delivery and long-term value for both client and community. For Mercury, the recognition reflects the strength of our delivery capability as a European leader in construction solutions for complex digital infrastructure.
Located in Saint-Denis, Paris, the €1bn Paris Digital Park campus comprises four facilities, PAR8 to PAR11, delivering 76.8 MW of IT capacity. Purpose-built to support hyperscale, cloud and AI workloads, the campus is one of Europe’s most strategically connected digital developments.
Mercury has led delivery of the campus since 2020, overseeing critical site-wide infrastructure including shell and core, architectural façade and roof, and the full fit-out of architectural, mechanical and electrical systems across multiple state-of-the-art data halls. The programme was delivered through phased handovers, supported by modularised plant rooms and tightly coordinated execution across a multi-year delivery timeline.
Sustainability and civic contribution were integral to both the design and delivery of the campus, and a key factor in its recognition. The development incorporates efficient free-cooling strategies, advanced energy management aligned with EU Green Deal objectives, and long-term regulatory compliance. It also delivers a tangible civic return through a 7,500 square metre public park gifted to the residents of La Courneuve, providing green space and play areas that embed the campus within the daily life of the community.
