About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal role that will contribute significantly to the growth and development of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning solutions that align with our strategic business objectives.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week in our Head Office in Sandyford, Dublin
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment:
- Develop and implement L&D strategies that directly support business objectives.
- Measure and demonstrate the impact of L&D initiatives on business performance.
- Conduct thorough training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall L&D strategy.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the business and its strategic goals.
Learning Design and Delivery:
- Develop and deliver engaging and innovative learning experiences that address identified performance gaps. These should include classroom training, e-learning, and blended learning approaches, with a particular focus on management and leadership development initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging learning technologies and methodologies.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation and all levels, effectively communicating the value of L&D initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure alignment of L&D initiatives with overall HR strategies.
Performance Consulting:
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify performance gaps and develop targeted solutions. Measure the impact of performance improvement initiatives.
Data-Driven Approach:
- Leverage data and analytics to identify training needs, measure program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
Project Management:
- Manage complex L&D projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined objectives.
Change Management:
- Lead change initiatives within the L&D function and broader organisation. Build consensus and drive adoption of new learning approaches.
Coaching and Mentoring:
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees and managers to support career development and performance improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or Organisational Development.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering impactful learning programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring employees and managers.
- Proficiency in learning management systems and authoring tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
