Mercury Wins Hat-trick of Awards at Movember Mo Awards for Second Year Running
Mercury proudly returned to the Movember Mo Awards in Dublin, earning Top Overall Team, Construction Challenge Winner, and Movember Business Club Champion titles for the second year in a row.
The awards recognise workplace teams that have gone above and beyond to support men’s health, and reflect the generosity, teamwork and commitment shown across Mercury’s sites and offices throughout Europe.
This cause resonates deeply across Mercury and the wider construction industry. As a predominantly male sector, construction continues to face significant challenges around physical and mental health. Through initiatives like Movember, Mercury is committed to raising awareness, encouraging open conversations and helping to break down stigma.
Representing Mercury at the awards was Eoin Lally, Business Unit Lead for CDI. Last year, Eoin and the CDI team organised a charity 5K and topped Mercury’s fundraising leaderboard as part of the company’s wider Movember campaign.
Speaking on the achievement, Eoin said:
We’re incredibly proud of the recognition, but what stands out most is the way people across Mercury continue to get behind the cause. The fundraising has been fantastic, but the awareness we’ve raised and the conversations we’ve helped create around men’s health are just as important.
At Mercury, safety is our anchor value, and creating a safe place to work also means creating a safe place to talk. Through wellbeing programmes, awareness campaigns and ongoing support initiatives, we continue to invest in the health and wellbeing of our people.
Last year Mercury contributed €381,239 through its corporate giving programme, reflecting the company’s commitment to making a positive impact across the communities in which we operate.
The success of Mercury’s Movember campaign has always been driven by our people. Employees, clients, subcontractors and supply chain partners continue to come together behind a cause that matters, helping raise awareness, drive meaningful conversations and support men’s health across our industry.
