Mercury’s Leadership Programme 2022 recently launched at the Clayton Hotel Leopardstown, Dublin, Ireland.

This event was attended by a cohort of 20 leaders from across our business, with participants drawn from across Mercury, representing both operations and support functions from our projects, offices and facilities across Europe.

All participants have been selected by senior management as high performers and key leaders in our organisation.

Speaking at the event, Eoin Vaughan, CEO, said: “The skill-sets that we are bringing in to support our future growth are making us stronger as an organisation. Each of you have an important role to play and we highly value your perspectives. I am confident that the 2022 cohort of our leadership programme will help to further support Mercury’s development.

„When I completed this same programme almost ten years ago one of the most important things since then has been to develop an increased sense of self-awareness. This is a very strong group of people and it is vital that all barriers are broken down to ensure that you all work and develop together as we continue to grow as a company and as individuals.”

Now in its third edition, our Leadership Programme first commenced in 2017 and runs every two years. The objective of this programme is to build our group’s bench strength and to enable succession to senior roles within Mercury. We have partnered with Ingenium for a third time, and modules will be co-delivered by Mercury & Ingenium speakers.

Participants will complete the programme following a formal graduate ceremony in December 2022.

Leadership Programme

We believe that to achieve incredible things you must invest in your people. In this regard, Mercury re-launched its newly revamped “Future Leaders” in June 2019. The programme is being run in conjunction with our training partners in Ingenium, a premium provider of training and consulting services.

The objective of the programme is to build the group’s bench strength to enable succession to senior roles within Mercury. The programmes participants are drawn from all parts of the business and represent both operations and support functions.
