Scope of the Role:
Deliver best in class performance through professional, competitive and efficient buying processes, controls and systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
· Purchase and hire equipment, materials and/or services for assigned projects.
· Responsible for procurement to pay process from sourcing to assisting with invoice clear-ance
· Supplier sourcing and negotiations
· Secure the quality and timely delivery of goods and/or services required for assigned pro-jects.
· Conducting bid analysis and processing of purchase orders
· Create Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function.
· Liaison with suppliers and accounts payable team regarding invoice queries
· Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities
· Maintain Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function.
· Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as sites and suppliers
· Negotiate vendor alliances and rebate agreements.
· Assist in the reallocation or disposal of excess materials.
· Ensure that the Authority Matrix is followed stringently.
· Conduct site visits to meet with project teams. Some European travel required.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Line Manager

Essential Criteria for the Role:
· Experience in a similar role within an engineering or construction company.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Work well as part of a team towards a common goal.
· Negotiating experience
Desirable Criteria:
· A third level qualification preferably in supply chain or other related discipline.
· Previous SAP experience.
· Knowledge of Tool and plant for construction an advantage.
