Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Maintain accurate records of issues, returns, and material movements.
- Ensure daily requirements and priority materials are available as per schedule.
- Follow correct procedures for all material receiving activities on site.
- Apply appropriate storage and preservation techniques for all materials.
- Keep the warehouse and stores organised, clean, and properly maintained.
- Provide an efficient delivery service from warehouse to project teams, ensuring all documentation is completed.
- Accurately use company systems to manage warehouse operations.
- Ensure full adherence to company procedures and processes.
- Monitor and minimise external hire of transport, plant, and equipment, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Generate and verify material reports for accuracy.
- Ensure stock reconciliation and maintain traceability of materials issued, following procedures.
- Maintain and manage minimum stock levels where applicable.
- Record and account for all surplus or returned materials from site.
- Liaise with site teams to resolve delivery discrepancies and related issues.
- Coordinate with the Group Material Manager on the removal and disposal of excess or scrap materials.
- Maintain Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards in line with company policies.
- Adhere to company Quality System requirements and maintain quality standards.
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Work independently under general supervision, following detailed guidance for new tasks.
- Make decisions within established procedures and standard practices.
Essential Criteria for the Role:
- 5 years’ experience in stores / Material management
- Communication Skills
- Computer skills- Excel, Word
Desirable Criteria:
- SAP experience
- Construction project environment experience
- Electrical parts knowledge
- Mechanical parts Knowledge
