German Unity Day: A key region in focus
In honour of German Unity Day, we are putting the spotlight on our operations across Germany.
Germany is a central hub for our European operations and one of our most important markets. Over the past two decades, Mercury has developed a strong presence within the country, with almost 300 employees currently based across projects in both Frankfurt and the capital city of Berlin. Our teams are currently delivering high-level data centre projects for multinational clients in Germany, with over 2,000 subcontractors working with us on these projects.
We pride ourselves on championing diversity in Mercury and having over 50 different nationalities in our workforce. Our projects in Germany are no exception. Our diverse teams both in Frankfurt and Berlin use their unique perspectives and expertise to deliver cutting edge engineering solutions every day.
However, our business operations are not our only focus in-country. Mercury’s commitment to social responsibility can be seen in our partnerships with a number of local sports and social clubs, as well as our charity work aimed at supporting communities in Frankfurt and Berlin.
Next year will mark our 10th year of operations in Frankfurt, a milestone of which we are extremely proud. In recognition of this and our rapid growth in Germany, we chose Frankfurt as the host city of our highly anticipated, company wide EURO50 event. This celebration of our 50th year in business saw Mercury employees come together to mark our continued success and vision for the future.
We are proud of all that’s been achieved within Germany. So, on this national holiday, we send our best wishes to all our German employees, clients and supply-chain partners.
