The Opportunity

Mercury has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our expanding team. If you enjoy making a difference in an progressive work environment and have experience recruiting for Professionals in Construction/Engineering, this could be the role for you!

You may be working in a Recruitment Manager job or a Senior Recruitment Specialist job in a Recruitment Agency running a successful Construction/Engineering or Semiconductor desk and looking for an opportunity to move In-House.

In this role, you will contribute to Mercury’s success by developing and implementing different recruiting strategies to identify high-quality and diverse candidates

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this Talent Acquisition job is based in our Head Office in Sandyford, Dublin. Hybrid working model, 3 days per week in the office. European Travel will be required.

 

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • You will have responsibility over the full recruitment process lifecycle of your allocated Business Units
  • Work in partnership with Hiring Managers as their dedicated TA Business Partner to guide them through the Talent Acquisition process
  • Own, lead and deliver on the key recruitment activities with regards to attraction, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer management processes
  • Positively influence the HR team and Line Managers to bring about successful recruitment campaigns.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with insights, analysis and innovative ways of sourcing the right calibre of candidates to Mercury.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies in challenging markets to ensure a continuous talent pipeline
  • Seek out market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction and sourcing.
  • As part of our sourcing strategy, travel to relevant countries to hold Career Fairs in order to attract talent for our roles throughout Europe
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager with any other requirements.

 

Essential Criteria for the Role:

  • Proven track record in either in-house and/or agency recruitment preferable in Construction Recruitment, Engineering Recruitment and/or Semiconductor Recruitment
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership, hiring managers, and stakeholders to drive deliverables for the Talent Acquisition team
  • ATS experience with sourcing and managing candidates
  • Knowledge with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Boolean search expertise, job board sourcing, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other sourcing tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritise as you will manage a number of open vacancies at any one time.
  • Travel to source candidates worldwide for roles in Europe
  • Fluent in English
