Mercury Engineering Poland were awarded a new contract for the execution of Zlota 44 – a residential high rise development of the Orco Property Group in Warsaw. Zlota 44 will be the most luxurious apartment building in Poland on its completion. It is located in the very centre of the capital city. The building is a heavily serviced luxury residential development over 54 storeys with 251 apartments, stretching to a height of 192m. The sky-scraper has been designed by the world-famous architect of Polish origin, Daniel Libeskind, who inter-alia has designed the master plan for the World Trade Center in New York and the Jewish Museum in Berlin. According to the Architect’s vision, the building shall present Warsaw from the future and from the past as well determine a result of inspiration of the history of Warsaw, “a city with untold potential. Złota 44 will symbolize this wealth of opportunity and emphasize its value to the world.” Mercury Engineering Poland has been appointed to provide complete Mechanical Services including co-ordinated design both to the residential and commercial part of the project. Mercury has commenced with its scope of works in September 2011. When completed it will be Poland’s third largest Skyscraper and its unique shape will redefine the skyline of central Warsaw.
Upon completion, this building will be the most luxurious apartment building in Poland meaning all works completed have to be done so to the absolute highest standard.
