Mercury was awarded the contract to construct the largest single NHS hospital build ever undertaken in Scotland.

This hospital, one of the most advanced medical facilities in the world, includes a fourteen-floor adult hospital with 1,109 single rooms and a five-storey children’s hospital with a 256-bed capacity.

The facility will have 20 modern operating theatres and will be home to major specialized services of renal medicine, transplantation, vascular surgery, neurosurgery & spinal injury treatment.

The hospital hosts services relocated from the Royal Hospital for Sick Kids at York Hill, The Southern General Hospital, The Western and Victoria Infirmaries and the Mansion House Unit.
