This commercial office building was constructed on the site of an existing building known as Wilton Place, Dublin 2 and now serves as LinkedIn’s EMEA headquarters.
Mercury carried out the mechanical and electrical installation packages along with the full design, supply and installation of a fire protection system comprising sprinklers completed to LPCB design standards.
The project compromises the installation of building services and utility supplies for the new six-storey building over an underground car park. Including the ancillary spaces, the overall floor area covers 17,650m².
The building incorporates several external terraces and areas of green roof. Also included in the project was a full height atrium between the ground and fifth floor and plant compounds at fifth floor level to accommodate the building services plant. Further mechanical, electrical and public health plantrooms were provided in the basement.
The design led to an achievement of LEED Outstanding Standard as well as being nominated for the National Fitout Awards in 2017.
