Askana, located in Gorzów Wielkopolski, was built as the largest (55,000 sqm) and most modern retail and entertainment centre in the region. The architecture of the centre, erected in a former factory premises, maintains the post-industrial character of the place. It combines traditional, historical, and modern elements of commercial solutions.
Mercury Engineering Polska acted as a consortium leader managing and coordinating all construction works. Mercury was also responsible for execution of M&E services.
Complete installation and construction works
Works were executed in a very busy city centre on the area of a former meat processing plant. The investor – Caelum Development – decided to save an old water tower and incorporate it into the new architecture. Due to the historical value of the original buildings, all works needed to be done under very strict architect’s supervision.
“We recommend Mercury to all future clients, as a contractor which is open to various solutions and meet Client’s requirements.”
