Modernization and expansion of the Czajka waste water treatment plant started in 2008. Existing equipment and technological processes, designed in the early 1970s, were replaced by modern, more productive ones, which comply with the current quality and environmental EU standards.

The scope of works completed by Mercury included mechanical, electrical (with design), and LV services.

Low voltage

Other than the large scale of construction site (over 50 ha), the biggest challenge of the project was coordinating the construction process with the operation of the existing plant.

At the time of its completion, Czajka WWTP was the biggest eco investment in Poland. It is one of the largest and most modern waste water treatment plants in Poland.
