Many of these participants previously completed our Apprenticeship Programme and have since progressed into office-based positions.<\/p>\n<p>Our panel at the event consisted of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jill Harmon, <\/strong>Senior Quantity Surveyor, graduate in engineering<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aine Tierney<\/strong>, 1<sup>st<\/sup> year Mech Apprentice<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bryan Creed<\/strong>, Mechanical Estimator, former mechanical apprentice<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean Mari<\/strong>, Senior BIM Modeler, former mechanical apprentice<\/p>\n<p><strong>Richard Jones<\/strong>, Senior Quantity Surveyor, former mechanical apprentice<\/p>\n<p><strong>Robert Bermingham<\/strong>, Electrical Engineer, former electrical apprentice<\/p>\n<p>Christie Idemudia<em><strong>, <\/strong><\/em>Human Resources Business Partner at Mercury said: \u201cThis initiative was a brilliant opportunity to highlight the plentiful career opportunities available to women in the construction industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust one in ten workers in this sector are female and this is something that Mercury is actively trying to change every day. We are leading the way in our efforts to attract a high quality and diverse team and help to make the construction industry more female-friendly.
