In 2025, Mercury delivered more than 15 million hours of work across projects and locations, supported by a sustained focus on Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety and Wellbeing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the year, Mercury applied structured safety management practices, proactive risk identification, and clear governance across its operations. This approach supports early intervention, encourages reporting, and helps ensure risks are\u00a0identified\u00a0and addressed in\u00a0a timely\u00a0manner.<\/span><\/p>\n

A key development in 2025 was the rollout of Mercury\u2019s\u00a0digital\u00a0Safety Observation Report (SOR) programme, launched across the Group in July. The\u00a0digital\u00a0system enables employees and partners to\u00a0identify\u00a0and report potential hazards\u00a0and unsafe\u00a0behaviours\u00a0quickly\u00a0and anonymously, strengthening early intervention and continuous improvement across projects. Since launch, more than 22,000 safety observations have been recorded through the SOR system,\u00a0providing\u00a0valuable insight into site conditions and behaviours and informing targeted safety actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Training\u00a0remained\u00a0a core focus throughout the year. In 2025, Mercury delivered more than 190,000 hours of training, supporting competence, awareness, and safe decision-making across disciplines and roles. This investment reflects Mercury\u2019s commitment to building capability and\u00a0maintaining\u00a0high standards\u00a0as the business continues to grow.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alongside physical safety, Mercury continued to strengthen its approach to employee wellbeing. In September 2025, the\u00a0business\u00a0launched the Mercury Wellbeing Hub as part of its Employee Assistance Programme.\u00a0The\u00a0platform supports employee mental, physical, and financial wellbeing, bringing together services such as counselling, physical therapy, rehabilitation support, and financial guidance.\u00a0In addition, Mercury provides access to Care Connect, a 24\/7 support service available to all employees\u00a0in the event of\u00a0a mental health crisis, offering immediate access to a trained professional.\u00a0We believe that a safe place to work is a safe place to talk, and to achieve this, investment in creating a supportive culture where everyone can reach their full potential is important.<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the delivery of Quality\u00a0and client satisfaction\u00a0Mercury have\u00a0renewed their approach\u00a0with the introduction and\u00a0implementation\u00a0of\u00a0the \u201cBringing Quality to Life\u201d programme. This is\u00a0impacting\u00a0the way our people\u00a0review designs,\u00a0procure\u00a0packages\u00a0and plan\u00a0the\u00a0on-\u00a0site delivery to achieve right\u00a0first-time\u00a0outcomes. It is shining a light on\u00a0Quality\u00a0Control and\u00a0striving to create the correct\u00a0environment for\u00a0us and our supply chain partners\u00a0to deliver\u00a0the best in workmanship,\u00a0commissioning\u00a0and\u00a0client\u00a0handover.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
