Mercury has officially launched its 2025\u201327 Graduate Programme, welcoming 51 new graduates who began their journey on 1 September with an induction week at the Irish Management Institute in Dublin. Mercury is the employer of choice in the pan-European construction sector, and the programme reflects our duty to invest in the next generation of leaders, creating opportunities for young people to build long-term careers across Europe.<\/p>\n
Talent Development Specialist Becky Caulfield emphasised that people are Mercury\u2019s greatest asset, with the Graduate Programme providing a platform to support their growth and long-term success:<\/p>\n
At Mercury, we back our people to realise their vision of themselves. Our Graduate Programme is designed to give talented individuals the opportunities, mentorship, and experience they need to grow into the leaders of tomorrow. This year\u2019s intake reflects the diversity, ambition, and potential that drives our business forward, and we are proud to support them as they begin their journey with us.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Launched in 2009, Mercury\u2019s Graduate Programme has successfully trained 426 graduates to date. Many have built long-term careers within the business and now hold senior positions across Europe. The programme remains a foundation of Mercury\u2019s investment in developing the next generation of leaders.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s cohort is one of the most dynamic in the programme\u2019s history, with graduates representing nine nationalities, including Brazilian, English, Greek, Hungarian, Indian, Irish, Italian, Spanish, and Zimbabwean. We encourage diverse perspectives that challenge the conventional, and this year\u2019s group reflects that strength. The intake includes 14 women and 37 men, with SETU Waterford emerging as the top feeder college, contributing ten graduates.<\/span><\/p>\n
Graduates are stepping into a wide range of roles, from mechanical, electrical, and CSA engineering to BIM, planning, quality, sustainability, and business functions. This breadth reflects the multidisciplinary nature of Mercury\u2019s projects and the opportunities available across our business units.<\/p>\n
The majority of the cohort, 40 graduates in total, will take up roles within Mercury\u2019s Data Centres business unit, reflecting the company\u2019s leadership position in the sector. A further eight will join Group Services, while three will enter Advanced Technology and Engineering. The geographical spread of the group also reflects Mercury\u2019s international reach, with graduates set to work across Ireland, England, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Finland.<\/p>\n
The 2025\u201327 cohort joins Mercury at a time of strong growth across its core sectors. Graduates will enter a high-performance culture that thrives on change, strives for excellence, and supports each other every step of the way.<\/p>\n
