Mark Brophy has joined the company as Managing Director for Life Sciences<\/span><\/a> to lead that delivery. With over 30 years of sector-specific experience, Mark brings a rare level of insight shaped by leadership roles on complex pharmaceutical and biotechnology programmes across Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

After years working on both the delivery and client sides of major specialist projects, joining Mercury felt like a natural step for Mark. \u201cI\u2019ve only been at Mercury a short period, but I\u2019ve encountered the company many times over the last 30 years. The principals and their dedication to excellence have always stood out. That passion to deliver, no matter what, is what brought me here,\u201d he says. \u201cThey have a progressive nature and they\u2019re willing to invest to make that progression happen. Mercury is expanding its footprint in key regions like Ireland, the UK, Benelux, the Nordics and DACH. This approach is supported by long-term investment in Off-Site Manufacturing. <\/span>Our new 25,000 square metre facility in Sch\u00f6nebeck<\/span><\/a>\u202frepresents an initial \u20ac25 million investment and will serve as the central modular hub for mainland Europe, producing prefabricated plant systems and high-spec assemblies for complex pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects.\u00a0 By enabling construction, commissioning, and validation phases to overlap, OSM helps reduce disruption on live campuses and allows projects to progress with greater predictability.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
