Mercury has once again proven that teamwork and dedication can drive meaningful change. By raising an incredible \u20ac64,080 for Movember this year, we\u2019ve not only surpassed our ambitious \u20ac50,000 target but also earned the title of the winner of the Movember Construction Challenge. And to further support the effort, Mercury has donated an additional sum to bring the total to \u20ac100,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

This remarkable achievement highlights our commitment to contributing positively to the world. Movember, a leading organisation focused on men\u2019s health, tackles critical issues such as mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. This cause resonates deeply with us. <\/span>With men 3-4 times more likely to die by suicide and construction largely a male dominated industry, we are committed to raising awareness and working together to break down stigmas in our industry.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the second year in a row, Mercury has partnered with Movember, uniting employees across our European projects to take on various challenges and activities. From running and swimming events to bake sales, quiz nights and other creative fundraising initiatives, every effort has made an impact and helped us to achieve our goal. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This success was built on the collective energy and creativity of Mercury\u2019s employees, with a particularly strong contribution from our Paris team. Athletic challenges like running and swimming served not only as fitness goals, but also as opportunities to connect with colleagues and rally support for the cause. Meanwhile, social events provided a platform to engage the broader community, spreading awareness and encouraging participation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Commenting, Meabh Gleeson, EHS Lead and key driver of the campaign said \u201cOur team\u2019s dedication to this cause has been nothing short of inspiring. This achievement is a testament to what we can accomplish when we work together. Our success isn\u2019t just measured in euros raised- it\u2019s also about the awareness we\u2019ve created and the collective team environment we\u2019ve fostered with this campaign. The incredible amount we\u2019ve raised will go a long way in supporting vital programs championed by Movember. I couldn\u2019t be prouder of our team for coming together to make such a significant impact.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
