Mercury has been recognised for our unwavering commitment to safety and wellbeing on one of our data centre projects in Denmark.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re proud to announce that we have been awarded the International Safety Award by the British Safety Council for our efforts in maintaining safe and healthy workplaces throughout 2022.<\/p>\n

The 2023 International Safety Awards, recognise and celebrate organisations from across 44 countries, that have demonstrated their dedication to preventing workplace injuries, work-related illnesses, and promoting employee wellbeing and mental health. Organisations that won awards span from across various sectors, with significant representation from construction, manufacturing, oil, gas, mining, power, and utility sectors.<\/p>\n

Mike Robinson, the Chief Executive of British Safety Council, extended his congratulations to Mercury for our success in winning the award: \u201cThe British Safety Council applauds Mercury Engineering on their achievement. The award is in recognition of their commitment and hard work to keep their employees and workplaces free of injury and ill health.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe vision of British Safety Council is that no-one should be injured or made ill through their work \u2013 anywhere in the world. Achieving this requires more than complying with legislation; it means people committed not only to health and safety but also more and more to workplace wellbeing and impelling others to follow suit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe long list of winners of the International Safety Awards, demonstrates that a significant number of companies recognise that effective management of health and safety risks is a business growth enabler, benefiting not just employees, but organisations and wider society. By celebrating the achievements of the 774 winners of the 2023 International Safety Awards and over six decades of improving health and safety standards around the world, we encourage other organisations to adopt this approach and place employees\u2019 health, safety and wellbeing at the core of their business.\u201d<\/p>\n
