Our Environmental, Health and Safety department, which consists of 150+ experts, plays a vital role in promoting our Work Safe, Home Safe ethos to its diverse audience of over 8,500 employees, supply-chain members, and clients. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To further empower our EHS teams and maintain our best-in-class safety record, we recently launched our Safety Mentorship Programme, which has quickly become an essential arena for our team members to seek advice, share lessons learned, and connect with experienced safety professionals. It also serves as a fantastic opportunity for continuous professional development. By fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration, this initiative enables our EHS professionals to learn from the best, while ensuring they have the tools, knowledge, and supports to identify potential hazards and take a proactive approach to safety.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">We recognise that safety culture goes beyond supplying the right training and equipment or following protocols and regulations. It requires employee buy-in, support systems for safety teams, and knowledge sharing. By prioritising safety beliefs, values, and attitudes, we can ensure that each person who goes past the turnstile on our project sites will return home safely at the end of the day. When every rank, team, and department work together to achieve this goal, we can achieve positive outcomes on-site, enhancing our safety measures and contributing to a safer and more efficient construction industry.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Through this programme, we aim to empower our people to learn from each other, ensuring that they have the tools and knowledge necessary to identify potential hazards and take a proactive approach to safety. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our Safety Mentorship Programme connects experienced safety professionals with younger and new members of our EHS team, providing an excellent arena for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
