Ciaran King, General Manager, King & Moffatt now takes up the role of Vice President, following Colm’s promotion.

Colm Burke thanked Tim Ferris for his commitment and dedication to the ECA during his presidential term, particularly for his work in the area of progressing the industry’s digital transition.

He also outlined some of the other key areas he will be looking to address over the course of the next year.

Colm said: “Tim has done an outstanding job in an important year for the industry when it made substantial progress in transitioning to being a modern digital-enabled construction sector.

“Looking at the year ahead, while the UK may have left the EU, it is still impossible to know what impact this will have on our supply chain framework.

“Skills shortages also remain a key issue that needs to be addressed.

“I look forward to working with the CIF executive, and other CIF bodies and sub-committees to devise solutions to address these issues.”
